BC Bug Run 2010
A bug run is a non profit event where you purchase a $20 “bug target” low tack sticker to put on your helmet or anywhere on a motorcycle except the headlight. (ANY stickers on lights are disqualified for safety reasons.) You then get to ride your motorcycle to the CMDRA Motorcycle Drag Races in Ashcroft, BC on July 17, 2010. Once there, you register your target at the gate and then go watch or participate in some spectacular racing for the day or weekend. The CMDRA is generously giving Bug Run participants a special deal at the gate and free camping at the event. At the end of Saturday’s race we all gather for the official declaration and payout of the three winners. Half of the money we generate as riders goes back to the riders as prize money.
The categories and prize money payouts are:
1. Biggest center splat. 50%
2. Most bug covered target. 30%
3. Largest single splat on a target. 20%
After winner payouts and event expenses, the BC Alzheimer’s Society gets a big donation.
This event is being organized by volunteers at Eyecandy Custom Cycles under license # 23405. For targets and event info:
